Eventually, the church made a decision to hire a full time pastor. After many years of genuine prayers, God intervened in His own way in bringing Pastor Tamirat Haile and his family from Ethiopia and the church was once again joyful about this miracle. The church installed him as a full time pastor in 2004, following the ordination by the Mennonite Brethren Church.
Through all this, Ethiopian Christian Fellowship in Sacramento purchased a church building and relocated to its current location at 7201 Florin Road in 2002 without a pastor.
